HGC Construction served as the Construction Manager for Park Monroe, a new six-story luxury apartment complex and structured parking garage just south of Ohio State University. Situated on a dense, high-traffic site at a major Columbus intersection, the project required creative coordination and adaptive problem-solving to stay on track and deliver value.

The scope of the project included:

  • 229 unique apartment units
  • 350-space parking structure
  • A rooftop amenity deck featuring a pool and garden

During construction of the parking garage, HGC encountered a significant layout challenge related to elevation changes on the site. Rather than slowing down the schedule, the team worked quickly with structural engineers to redesign the garage foundation and retaining walls to accommodate the grade without compromising parking capacity or circulation. This swift coordination avoided costly delays and demonstrated HGC’s ability to solve problems in real time.
